About the event
May 7 (DI Club) -- Col. Tom Hendricks -- Retired Air Force career fighter pilot, instructor pilot at the U.S. Navy’s Fighter Weapons School (Topgun). It turns out that Tom (a Citadel graduate) wanted to get Alex Pelbath to speak to the Cadets at The Citadel. We made the introduction and along the way we learned that he had been a Topgun instructor. Had to get him and he agreed! Tom served as a Navy Officer on the USS Midway prior to his position at Topgun. After his military career ended he was the
president of the National Business Aviation Association which is an organization for more than 10,000 companies that rely on general aviation aircraft to make their business more productive and successful.
