Parker Milner - Food Editor - Post and Courier

April 2  (DI Club)  --  Parker Milner, Food Critic at the Post and Courier.  We all consider ourselves to be “foodies”.  But Parker is a real “foodie”.  However, he was not always connected to the food industry.  In fact, after graduating from Boston College he spent seven years as a professional hockey player in the New York Islanders, Minnesota Wild, and Washington Capitals organizations.  He began his journalism career after his professional hockey career brought him to Charleston.  He had a passion for writing, storytelling, and food.  Sounds like he has the perfect job.   If you act quickly, you can join Parker on a Post and Courier Travel trip to  Tuscany and Florence in April.  Visit an olive oil farm, learn all about wine production in northern Italy, and go to a truffle farm where you will learn all about how this underground fungus is grown and harvested.
