On Saturday, March 20, several Rotarians participated at Riverfront Park for the 15th Annual Water Mission Walk for Water in Charleston.
The Rotary Club of Daniel Island supports Water Mission because more than 2.2 billion people around the world do not have access to safe water. In many countries, women and children walk over three miles each day to gather water for their families. Oftentimes, it’s water that is unsafe to drink. By joining the Walk for Water, DI Rotarians showed their support to the organization that is providing accessible, life-saving safe water solutions for hundreds of thousands of people.
