5/11/2022 - Rotary Recap - Kris Manning - Artist, Musician

.May 11 Recap

Kate Lilly's story

Kate is a new Red badge member, and she's been out with some health issues; we hope you have a speedy recovery, Kate! She became drawn to community service at a very young age. As a youth after school, Kate would visit veterans, and her sorority in college visited local nursing homes. Kate received a master's degree in public administration. She's been in Charleston for seven years. She works for the Red Cross and is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Junior League of Charleston. Kate felt like there was another service element she wanted to add to her life. She decided to inquire about Rotary and visited several clubs in the area. She later agreed that RCDI was the perfect fit. Kate previously knew Mary Schroeder via the blood drives, which helped her feel comfortable with the club.

Derek Epperson mentioned we need a new member to take over for Beth Lee, who organizes the weekly invocation & my story members.

Remember Greg Baker has set up paypal for the cart fund and other virtual giving opportunities.
