Rotary Recap - 10/7 -Duck Fundraiser Meets Goal!

October 7, 2020 - Rotary Recap.  WE DID IT! We reached our goal of raising over $100,000.  Today's weekly breakfast meeting held virtually and in-person provided members a recap of the success of the fundraiser.  There were 291 donations which averaged over $92.00. A big shout out to all of those who supported this event! Member, Bill Thielfoldt shared his story from growing up on Long Island and attending the University of New Mexico.  He had a fabulous career with Xerox before retiring with FedEx Office.  Bill has lived across the US and has been a huge support to our club as Secretary and previously served as Fundraising Chair.  Bill is very involved in the community with other organizations and is a big supporter of the Alzheimers Association.  Mary Jo hosted a live auction to raise money for the CART fund when we have our Chili Cookoff in a few weeks.  Thanks to Mike Sudzina, Bill Cannon, Scott Garcia, and Dr. Rebeca Zechmann for being sponsors of this event.
