Rotary Recap - 2/5 - Ms. Leslie Jackson - Assisted Living Loators

Today's weekly breakfast speaker was Leslie Jackson, owner of the franchise Assisted Living Locators.  Leslie is an Elder Care Advisor.  In the next 20 years, there will be approximately 10,000 people a day turning 65, and Charleston is the 10th best city to retire.  Leslie helps families find the right care for their loved one and negotiate their living arrangements.  Leslie identified the different levels of care available and the different factors that people consider.  Dr. Rebeca Zechmann has become the newest member of our club and Kyle Taylor shared his story.  Kyle is a native of Charleston, a proud graduate of Citadel, has a successful career as a civil engineer, and has lived on Daniel Island for 4 years.  He enjoys running and hanging out with us! We were reminded that this month's drive is food for ECCO and our service project is preparing meals at the Low Country Food Bank on February 25th with other area Rotary clubs. In the meantime, check out the Bacons in this month's DI News.
