Rotary Recap - 5/7 - Darrin Goss - ED, Coastal Community Foundation


May 6, 2020 - Rotary Recap.  Darrin Goss, President and CEO of Coastal Community Foundation (CCF), was the speaker at our Club's virtual weekly breakfast meeting.  CCF was founded in 1974, serves 9 counties located on South Carolina's coastal region, and is focused on the "Best Interest in the Community".  CCF is proficient in using its local knowledge and expertise by collaborating with organizations in providing grant funds.  CCF's guiding values are as follows: Stewardship, Integrity, Inclusion with Equity, and Courage.  CCF's focuses on marginalized communities and improving the quality of life of people by implementing an upward mobility strategy. 


An initiative was presented to the members to assist our neighbors in the Cainhoy Community, with details as to how you can help being rolled out (see Upcoming Events). The District is providing the Club $2500, which funds will be used to support this Cainhoy project.  Please also remember to consider participating in the Low Country Red Cross Blood Drive (See Upcoming Events)
