Rotary Recap - 6/3 - Page Kinery - Brookgreen Gardens

June 3, 2020 - ROTARY RECAP.  Page Kiniry, President and CEO of Brookgreen Gardens, was our weekly breakfast meeting's speaker held virtually.  Brookgreen Gardens is 89 years old and consists of 9000 acres which include Huntington Beach State Park.  The 1000 Lights exhibit is unique in that each station has a statement from the artist.  Brookgreen Gardens is located in the Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island area and has a lot to see including a range of classes that they offer.  The facility has made changes to operations in observance of pandemic precautions, however, everyone was encouraged to visit the gardens as a great way to spend time outdoors.  Please visit their website at http://www.brookgreen.org for more information as to the location and all of what they have to offer.

Rotarians gave blood this week to the Red Cross. The Club is looking for members who would like to step up and be an ambassador, please contact Mary Jo if you are interested.
