To support Ronald McD House, the RCDI Partners with the DICF and DI restaurants

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston opened its doors 35 years ago as a “Home-away-from-home” where families stay while their children undergo extensive medical treatment. Today, the House is able to serve 32 families every single night.

The Ronald McDonald house relies on volunteers to prepare meals for its families. Unfortunately, the coronavirus has caused this to stop. So, the Daniel Island Rotary has stepped in with a $1000 donation to provide meals for several weeks during this difficult period.

And to amplify our impact, the Rotary Club of Daniel Island is partnering with the DICF and Daniel Island Restaurants. The DICF is matching all donations from the RCDI as we purchase meals from Daniel Island Restaurants, supporting the businesses and employees that are so important to our local community.
