Bart Jackson, Duck Race Founder and “Head Quack”

August 14 (DI Club) -- Bart Jackson, Founder of the Charleston Charity Duck Race. “Head Quack”. We are all familiar with our annual duck race. But how many of you know how it came about? The idea originated with Bart Jackson who was a long-time member of our Club. Some of us thought his idea of dropping 10,000 ducks off the Wando River Bridge was wacky. But Bart sold the idea and look at it today. Who knew! Bart worked his butt off to make this happen and we all owe Bart a sincere thank you for this long standing contribution to both our Club and the entire Daniel Island community.
