Club Assembly (Key Initiatives)

Session to discuss key initiatives. 

Hello Rotarians! I hope each and every one of you have had a great week. For those of you at the meeting this past week (in person or Zoom), then you heard Bob make the announcement of our meeting for next week (October 4th) will be held over at Blackbaud, Inc. at their state of the art facility. They have been kind enough to open their doors for us as their guests that day, an opportunity that hasn’t existed until recently.  Special thanks to Dr. Bill Greene as he was introduced to Mr. Otto Orr (Blackbaud’s site manager) recently who invited our club over to have a meeting sometime and check out the place. DATE: Wednesday, October 4th TIME: 7:30am-8:30am (I would certainly encourage, if possible, to arrive a few minutes earlier than your normal arrival time so you don’t feel rushed arriving to a new spot.  We still plan to start promptly at 7:30.) ADDRESS: Blackbaud, Inc. 65 Fairchild St. Charleston, SC 29492 Some particulars for the meeting:

• Sweet T will be catering the meal.  They have a delicious menu planned for the morning so whether your preference is sweet or savory (or just coffee), I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
• We will have a couple of Meetings committee members standing outside to help direct everyone in.  So when you arrive look for a familiar face up around the building who can point you in the right direction.
• Please see the attached Map of the facility and parking lot.The Orange arrows indicate the entrance doors to the building. Parking Lot 1 will be the more convenient lot to park in so you won’t have to cross the street if you were to park in Parking Lot 2.
• We certainly want to leave the place better than we found it so if a few of you have a couple extra minutes to help tidy up after the meeting that would be great.  I believe the caterer will be bringing some To Go boxes if anyone would like to take home some leftovers if there are any left.
