Daniel Prohaska – Lions Vision Services

August 16 – Daniel Prohaska – President, CEO, Lions Vision Services. You all may know Daniel from the days he spent as Director of Development for the Birds of Prey. He organized a tour of the Birds of Prey facility for our club several years ago, and worked with us to organize the flight demonstration for the Birds of Prey  here at the DI Club last year. But he has always been attracted to vision problems and has been a long-time member of the Lions Club. He has been in his current role since 2020. LVS is a statewide nonprofit that provides vision health services to low-income families across South Caroline. We thought about Daniel when we visited the Shifa Clinic a few months ago and Dr. Kahn mentioned that one of its biggest needs was optometrists to provide vision services to their low-income clients. Daniel seemed like a perfect fit so put him in touch with Shifa and invited him to speak to our group. He has been a good friend of our Club while at the Birds of Prey.
