Point and was commissioned as a field artillery officer. He served in the Army for over 20 years including two combat tours in Iraq. While in the Army he helped to develop an Army-wide program to improve mental skills and soldier performance in combat. He has worked with elite athletic performers from college, Olympic, and professional sports. His wife, Heather, teaches Money and Banking at Charleston Southern University.
