About the event

April 5 -- (Daniel Island Club) -- Dr. Denise Sanger, Research Coordinator, Department of Natural Resources. Dr. Sanger’s research at the DNR includes the function of stormwater ponds in the coastal landscape, mapping the sand shoals on South Carolina’s outer continental shelf, the flow of tidal creeks,

tidal marsh resilience to sea-level rise, nutrient management of tidal creeks. Sounds a lot like what Dr. Bronk from the Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences was talking about in January. Bob Schroeder has spoken with Dr. Sanger regarding a possible joint environmental project between our club and the Department of Natural Resources.
