May 20 -- Ed Rominger -- Brand development. Ed talks to us all the time about the Rotary Foundation. But brand development is what he did in his pre-retirement life. Towards the end of his career he worked for Sauer Brands which is the largest producer of extracts and spices in the nation. One of the many products he was working to develop was Duke’s Mayonnaise. Along the way he worked with a number of grocery stores, like Publix, Winn Dixie, and Harris Teeter to help them develop their condiment and seasoning expansion path into their deli and meat departments.
