Hybrid Meeting - Ernest Andrade, Executive Director, CHS Digital Corridor

May 4 -- Ernest Andrade, Executive Director, Charleston Digital Corridor. Ernest has been instrumental in fostering the growth of the tech community in Charleston. It has not yet reached the level of Silicon Valley, Austin, or the Research Triangle, but it is growing rapidly and bringing to our community well-educated, entrepreneurial individuals in their 20’s and 30’s who create literally thousands of high paying jobs. At the CDC members can find affordable office space, share common expenses like phone service and accounting, and mingle amongst a group of experienced entrepreneurs, mentors, and business professionals. A little known fact about Ernest is that he was the Director of Development for the City of Charleston when Daniel Island was annexed into the city. He keeps saying he plans to retire soon. Don’t count on it.
