August 13 -- Kevin Sheilley, President and CEO, Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. Kevin joined the Charleston Chamber in February of this year. He is widely recognized as a dynamic leader in regional economic development. Prior to arriving in Charleston he held the same two positions at the Ocala Florida Metro Chamber of Commerce for the previous 12 years. Under his leadership the CEP achieved significant milestones including being recognized as the national Chamber of the Year by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives in 2020. Prior to that he was President and CEO of economic development organizations in Kentucky and Tennessee. Kevin succeeds Bryan Derreberry who retired after leading the Charleston Chamber for over 13 years.
