While an uncomfortable topic to discuss, the reality is that many older club members, at some point in the not-too-far-distant future, will be faced with an end-of-life situation for themselves or a loved one. Younger club members may be in a similar situation with their parents or grandparents. What exactly is hospice care?  At what point does someone choose hospice care? What do hospice workers actually do? Is hospice care only available in a clinical setting? Could a hospice worker come to your home? Do hospice workers provide emotional support to other family members? Who pays for hospice care? How much does it cost?
