Laurie Meyer, Meyer Vogl Gallery

Laurie Meyer is a long-time DI resident. Our Club visited her gallery here on Daniel Island in March of last year. In addition, the Meyer Vogl Gallery hosted Bill and Ann Stevens’, and John and Linda Common’s book signing event at her gallery a couple of months ago. When we visited her gallery last year she spoke to us about how we should look at art. It was such an enlightening presentation that we thought it might be worthwhile for her to revisit that issue for the benefit of the entire Club. Laurie has been painting here on DI for more than 25 years. She also offers private art lessons in her studio. If you go to the Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Art Exhibition in the spring you will more than likely see Laurie’s booth. She has been doing that show for years and has received innumerable awards.
