October 22 -- Sandy Morckel. District Governor. The new District Governor visits all 72 clubs in the district early in their year as DG. The goal is for her to lay out the goals for our district during her year as District Governor. Sandy is a past president of the Historic Charleston Rotary Club downtown and has been a good friend of our club for years. Sandy is the Founder and President of Solutions for a Greater Good which has helped nonprofits and public/private partnerships raise over $60 million for a wide variety of causes across the US. Her lifelong leadership in civic engagement includes a commitment to racial equity and economic parity.
