March 1 – (Daniel Island Club) – Steve Dudash, Director of Special Projects, Jamestown and Jay Weaver, President, Weaver Capital Partners, Redevelopment of the North Charleston Navy Yard. 

Jamestown has developed high profile properties around the world. – Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco, One Times Square in NYC, and Buckhead Village and Ponce City Market in Atlanta amongst them. Now it has been charged with redevelopment of the former Navy Yard in North Charleston. The Navy Yard has maintained a presence on the N. Charleston waterfront for more than a century. It includes the former Naval Hospital, a neoclassical power plant, and a series of storehouses. Jamestown intends to create a mixed use neighborhood which will include new office space, residences, shopping, and dining in the nearby Park Circle neighborhood as well as new green spaces, a concert hall, and an outdoor events venue.
