About the event
May 22 -- Tour of the Mercedes Benz Vans facility. Christoph has kindly arranged a tour of the MBV facility in Ladson. It will be held from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the firm’s plant, 8501 Palmetto Commerce Parkway in Ladson. Google maps says it will take about 30 minutes to get there but, given rush hour, you should allow more time. You will need to provide your shoe size when you register because you will be issued hard-toed shoes when you arrive for the tour. This is a first for us and a rare opportunity you do not want to miss. You may not know it, but the plants employs more than 1,700 workers. This is a big deal. Jay Sands and Angela will be our contacts when you arrive.
