About the event

March 30 (Zoom) – Stacey Lindberg, Cyber Security Mentorship & Internship Program, sponsored by ATI. Stacey is well-known to our Club. She is a past-president of the N. Charleston Breakfast Rotary. She is also the founder of the Palmetto Scholars Academy which provides challenging educational opportunities for intellectually-gifted students. She spoke to us about the PSA in October 2014. Now she is on another mission to enhance education opportunities for another group of students. Her company Advanced Technology International (ATI) was awarded a grant by the SC Department of Commerce to provide internships/mentorships to underserved minority students at SC Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)s and Trident Technical College (TTC). The goal of the program is to increase the number of minorities in the computer science fields. The program will conclude in November 2022 with a 3-day Hack-a-thon at which the featured speaker will be Daniel Island resident Frank Abagnale from Catch Me If You Can fame.
